Ta chansen att testa dig för HIV och syfilis under Luleå Pride!

TESTPOINT SEXPERTERNA från RFSL Förbundet möjliggör för människor att känna till sin hib-status, men arbetar också för att avdramatisera hivtestning och uppmuntra regelbunden testning i sina målgrupper. Målgrupperna är transpersoner och cismän som har sex med män, och hbtqi-personer som nyligen flyttat till Sverige.

Testningspersonalen är personer som har goda kunskaper om hiv, sex och sexualitet och som har fått specialutformad utbildning för att kunna genomföra snabbtestning och rådgivande samtal. Sexperterna är inte vårdutbildade, och Testpoint verkar utanför vården. Alla som jobbar inom Testpoint har skrivit på ett tystnadslöfte som innebär att de inte får föra vidare något som sägs inom Testpoint till någon annan.

Testningen sker genom ett litet stick i fingret och resultatet ges omedelbart. Vid eventuellt positivt resultat får du rådgivning och stöd för hur du ska gå vidare för att få behandling.

Take the chance to test yourself for HIV and syphilis during Luleå Pride!

TESTPOINT SEXPERTS from the RFSL Association enables people to know their hiv status, but also works to de-dramatize hiv testing and encourage regular testing in their target groups. The target groups are transgender people and cis men who have sex with men, and LGBTQ people who have recently moved to Sweden.

The testing staff are people who have good knowledge of hiv, sex and sexuality and who have received specially designed training to be able to carry out rapid testing and counselling. The sexperts are not healthcare trained, and Testpoint operates outside of healthcare. Everyone who works at Testpoint has signed a confidentiality agreement which means that they are not allowed to pass on anything said within Testpoint to anyone else.

The testing is done by pricking your finger and the result is given immediately. In the event of a positive result, you will receive advice and support on how to proceed to receive treatment.
